SLINGS
Human Care offers a broad range of anatomically designed slings developed with the safety and comfort of the patient in mind. Our portfolio includes more than 22 different models of slings offered in a variety of sizes and fabrics to accommodate a vast number of applications and needs.
The right material for the right situation
Choosing the right material is important when choosing a sling since the different materials have unique characteristics suitable for different lifting situations. Using a sling in a robust material with low friction will make the sling easy to apply and remove. When used for bathing and showering, you will need to have net materials that dry quickly and are easy to keep clean. If you want to leave the sling in a wheelchair or bed after the lift is done you need a breathable material and a sling without any reinforcements, handles or paddings. Our slings materials all offer their own unique benefits and features.
Comfort and safety
Our wide range of slings are functional, comfortable and designed for all lifting needs and types of patients. They are available in sizes from Junior Small to XXXL bariatric and are best used together with our unique three-point suspension for optimum comfort and space. The Human Care slings are available in varying styles in order to achieve a safe and comfortable lift in all situations and environments.

Model Basic Sling
Basic Sling
- Shoulder high model with divided leg parts
- No reinforcements, handles or padding
- Suitable for patients with poor trunk stability
- Upright sitting position
The Basic sling is a comfortable sling without reinforcements, handles or padding. The sling adapts to the patient and offers good support for the entire back. The Basic soft sling can be used in most lifting situations, fits most patients and is a good choice if it is not established who is going to be using the sling.
The basic sling is offered in thin Polyester Net and Trevira fabric that allow moisture and heat to transfer efficiently from the patient. This allows the sling to be left behind the patient for a short period of time after the transfer is completed.
Model Activity sling
Activity sling
- Designed for children
- Support during walking, standing and balancing
The Human Care Activity Sling makes it possible for children to stand up and move about, depending on their individual ability. The sling gives the support and security that allows the child the possibility to move freely. The sling is applied while the child is lying down.
The Activity Sling is made in a Polyester Net fabric. It has a neck support and elasticated straps at the sides for maximum flexibility. Shoulder supports are included.
Model Limb Sling

- HCFC Free
- UV Resistant
Our Limb Sling is designed to comfortably and conveniently assist in lifting, supporting and positioning a client’s body part like legs, arms, shoulders, pannus or hips. This allows better access for treatment, performing surgery, leg/venous wrapping, foot care, wound care treatment, hygiene and a variety of other care-related tasks.
Only sold in the United States.
Model Infection Control Transfer Sheets
Infection Control Transfer Sheets
- Disposable, single-patient use
- Reduces unnecessary manual lifting of patients
- Reduces the risk of musculoskeletal injuries for healthcare personnel
Our transfer sheets are ideal for single patient use in quarantine infection areas. Individually packed, they can easily be stored on a hospital cart for quick access. They reduce the friction under the patient, which allows for quick and easy transfers from a bed to a chair or stretcher or back. The ability to easily transfer or position a patient reduces caregiver injuries and fatigue, and since the transfer sheets are disposable, infection control protocols are maintained.
