Support and education
We know how beneficial it is if a product is used the way it is supposed to be used. Correct usage is extremely important – not only for the overall well-being of the user but the life expectancy of the product. That is why we offer product education.
Our sales team, support staff, and trainers are specialists both in usage and the products themselves. They can help arrange workshops, in-services, or training for small groups on our products.
Training for healthcare workers
We know how important proper lifting is – musculoskeletal injuries and the resulting costs have become a major concern with both healthcare workers and facilities.
Our team includes trained occupational therapists and physical therapists, that can educate you on our products, their usage as well as proper transferring techniques. We offer workshops and training for both small and large groups, including on-site education.
Training for installers and service technicians
Our products can only be installed by accredited professionals. Human Care conducts annual certification programs for its customers and partners.
Our training is a full day event beneficial for installers and service technicians and covers product education, the installation process, common installations and materials, problem solving and much, much more. For training schedules, contact your local office.
Human Care offers a program for service, support, installation and repair of our overhead lift systems in Sweden, Canada, Australia and the United States.
Our overhead lifts and their components are designed and developed by our research team in Stockholm. Human Care guarantees the most up-to-date knowledge on products, standards and procedures is reflected in each of our products. Every member of our team, whether design, research or support, can offer the latest information and education on our products, their installation and repair. Human Care is ISO 9000 certified, which ensures that processes and procedures are followed.
The staff at Human Care are trained and accredited to the latest standard for overhead lifts, EN ISO 10 535:2006. Human Care takes full responsibility for the safety of the overhead lift system by approving an accredited staff who deliver the services.
Benefits with overhead lifts
The overhead lift is the best possible mobility aid for moving a patient in a nursing environment. Being mounted in the ceiling, the lift allows for the floor space to remain uncluttered. Thus, the caregivers may move around more freely, safely and speedily.
The overhead lift can be installed in any environment and will reach every position in the room – without furniture posing a hindrance. Having all needed prerequisites for heavy lifts at hand saves lots of time, allowing for more – and more cost-efficient – caregiving.
